Lol Tracey, I think she'll say 'thank goodness she has now stopped calling me China chicken!' Neil thinks she may retrieve a chicken, must admit that worries me a bit. Meadow and Paul - you know I'm a frustrated non chicken owner! - Im working on it!

I love them all really Jd. I will probably end up with some scabby looking ex battery ones!

well mine are ex-battery chickens and they were very skinny but now 2 months later they are getting lovely and fat and laying the most massive eggs ive ever seen!

Ooooh thats so nice Jd. They are obviously appreciating the lovely life you are offering them rather than being cooped up inside in a cage.

Hi Ba, Yeah just doing it to wind you up really - it was Willis idea! No, seriously, I think we came in on a different side of the show (from the south gate) and these little beauties were in the Gardeners emporium. Drawn like a moth to a flame! Ive even got a book on how to keep them (spotted by Willi) this week.

Wish I could have chickens again:-)
