They are so adorable :-)

That's very cute. I have little baby birds nesting under a banana leaf in my back yard.

Really? I'd love to look at them!

Tommymoo:

Yes, the baby birds are orioles. The adult males are so bright yellow gold they remind me of a canary (except the head and part of the wings are black).

I'll post a pic tonight.

"Orioles" sound exotic!
I'm looking forward to seeing your pic :)

I think orioles are native to most of the U.S.

Here's some pics:

Wow, they are beautiful!
I love the colours and the pattern on their wings.
Thank you very much for the link :)

You're welcome. I'll see if I can get a pic of the parent birds. They do fly around very quickly, though.

Yes, they are quite beautiful and very bright!

That'll be nice! I'd love to see YOUR photo of the parent birds, anybody else's lol. I know it's extremely difficult to take a photo of any creature which moves quickly and unpredictably such as bees and birds (sometimes squirrels lol)!

23 May, 2012

Yes, the parent orioles are very quick. I'm hoping I can get a photo...I haven't been able to one yet.

When you get a photo or two (or more), please let me know by commenting here. Please!! I really want to see your photos of the parent orioles! I'm off to France on Monday and won't be able to log on to GoY for 3 weeks after that. I'll look at your photos when I come back, but I bet you'll uploads hundreds of photos during the time, therefore, your little notice will be highly appreciated :) Thank you very much in advance for your kindness :-)

I will, although, I haven't seen the orioles this morning. I'm hoping they haven't left. They nest here every year and after the babies have left they leave my backyard. I'm not sure where they go.

Thank you very much!!
Good luck!!!!!! I look forward to seeing your photos :)
