BLUEBELLS FOR A WOODY AREA...

I love bluebells, I have some, they do not spread much. :((

No, they do not seem to accumalate Michaella...Usually, wild flowers, seem to spread like wild fire, excuse the pun...lol
I had to buy extra bulbs, this year, to achieve more
spread...The spread never looks as good as the Gardening Magazines, show us.....

These look like the English Bluebell as the flowers are on one side making them bend over. They do spread but not not as much as the Spanish ones which are wiping out the English ones. I have English ones and dig them all up every year, but as the bulbs grow quite deep I still have lots the next spring.

I believe i heard this info. a while back on Gardeners World...The English Bluebell are the type, we want to flourish in our gardens think they are prettier...:))

Yes we do and if we continue to plant the Spanish ones the English ones will disappear.
