This is a useful clematis as it prefers a shaded position

Sticki - I'm really pleased with this one. I bought it as a tiny plant as there was so much root competition (from the garrya it is trained over) in a narrow bed and for two years it didn't flower and just grew a little bit. Now it's romping away and covered in flowers - in the shade
