Grown from a cutting last year, and doing well.

Well I hadnt tried before, and it was a slip that I took from a friends one. I just put it in a pot and left it and by the end of summer it was growing nicely. I have been told that I was lucky to get it to root, but there wasnt a problem. I did protect it a bit through winter.

Thanks for your reply!

It looks really beautiful, Cinders :)
...but, is it as rampant as its cousins once it gets going?

I really don't know Karen, but if it is I shall have to get busy and cut it back or get rid, as my garden won't take it.

I was up in my 'old garden' today...
I put 'a cousin' in there a few years ago...and battled with it every spring...
Well! Now...it seems like it won...
It's not my garden anymore - so I no longer care lol!
But, I think you should keep your eye on it...

This looks big for 1 year old.
Is it difficult to grow this from a cutting?
