I didn't actually want a hanging basket...lol!!

I hang my baskets on a second set of chains to take them down to my level. This is a lovely begonia.

The flowers are too nice to be away up there...and the lime green plastic pot is not nice at all!!

We can buy replacement chains here very cheaply and all you do is hang up the new chain and hang the pot on the chain. I thought the lime green pot showed up the flowers very well.

Ah...actually, it's maybe the hook that I don't like...it looks like a cheap plastic coathanger...

I can't get any chains until the 30th...the store is closed until then, because of all the flood damage...

Poor shopkeepers. Its frustrating for the customers but it must be traumatic for them. I'm sure nobody will be looking at the hook with that eyeful to look at.

I know...and apparently there's some trouble with the insurance...the 'town' didn't implement the flood defences in time...

Maybe something 'heath robinson' with a couple of wire coathangers might do the job lol!

Oh dear insurance again? The coat hangers should do the trick nicely. I'm sure Ivan could sort you out with a strong plole with hooks either end to hang from the pergola roof and then to hang the basket.

I've just remembered that I've got the remains of an Ikea chandelier hanging around somewhere...that should do the trick!
