I turned an old dinner bell into a bird feeder and planted a clematis at the base.

Haha, they are commonly seen on farms. Up until the 1960's, these bells were used to announce dinner to farmers out in the fields. This bell was already here when I moved in, I cut it down and turned it into a bird feeder. They are super loud too, they can be heard from 1/2 to 1 mile away (1.6 kilometers). I had to shoot a raccoon off of it last night, it had been tearing down all the bird feeders!

I'm never home at noon and don't want to wake up the guy down the road at midnight haha. He has the same type of bell in his yard, when his kids are around they start ringing their bell every time I ring mine.

Oh, Robert, this was the answer I did not expect from you. "I am never home at noon". What is this? Lol.

I thought it would be more fun to ring it at midnight anyways haha.

Hahaha. Would like to join you. Is the police station far from your house? Just in case we will need to run, lol.
