Daylily cross - Lighter Than Air X Catcher In The Eye

Diameter: 4.5" TET
Rose with dark red halo and applique eye, some ruffling on the edges. I didn't think I was going to get much today because of rain, but this opened. The down side is I won't be able to go out very much to look at it.

I have another one with applique throat, but the purple on the petals has rain spots, so I will wait for a sunny day to get a good photo. I'm still not finished with the first time seedlings and my new plants already have scapes; and if that wasn't enough, I am starting to get reblooming scapes.

It is still at the 1 fan stage, so I'm hoping for some real growth this summer.

Still only 1 fan, so this will take a while before there is something to divide.

Oh this is one of my favourites so far Wylie, I'm a sucker for these applique throats, adding to favourites :-))
Shame about the rain, at least you can look at this picture, its glorious here again, and the daylilies are sending up scapes everywhere, noticed them on at least 5 new ones too :-))
