This is a native bush in a garden environment on the hill. First flowers out in late April this year, and first ladybugs. They were nestled all about in it. The flowers are followed by a little rough speckled berry that is whipped with sugar in fall to make eskimo ice cream.

An acquired taste. Sweet and foamy, but on the odd flavor side of things. Still, there's nothing quite like it.
