Large native stands all around, but this particular one had red catkins, wish I had something better than my phone! Another early spring sight. It came early but was slow and steady, a refreshing change from the marathon springs of the last few years.

They usually are, but this one tree had these big red ones, so I had to take a picture. Maybe a result of the long spring this year.
