Many streets here in California are lined with much larger trees. Some street are completely covered with huge Jacaranda trees. Los Angeles is one city that has gigantic Jacarandas which cover the streets...I think the soil there is very deep and more fertile than here in San Diego.

It's: Lucky "Angelinos", that's what they call themselves in Los Angeles. lol! :>)
Yes, when I went through Los Angeles Area a couple of weeks ago (going to the San Francisco Bay Area), I saw thousands of gigantic Jacaranda trees in bloom.

Thanks for that, Andy, it didn't quite sound right. So now I know to say 'Angelinos'.

This could be a street in our capital city of Brisbane during spring into summer. When we lived down there I was lucky enough to live near a Jacaranda tree lined street. It was simply stunning where all the trees bloomed. You would walk on carpets of purple.
