"Lunacy"

The symmetry of the whole flower is hard to beat. Unfortunately, no reblooming.

I don't mind if it will not rebloom, it is a winner!!

I'm trying to cross it to a reblooming yellow.

I've just been counting up my seedlings Wylie 130, ooops, been potting a few into bigger pots, but now I've run out of pots, looks like some of my other seed grown plants will have to face the big wide world earlier, in other words I want their pots,lol :-))

I have not had a lot of luck with pots. Last year I had 2 that came up a little later than the others, so I put them into large pots instead of the ground. This year, they are not going to do much, but I have a placed picked out for them. I was putting seedlings into the ground outside at the end of March, and they are very large now.
But 130 seedlings - time to get a pair of sissors for your husband to cut the grass with after you dig up another large area for them :)

Don't know if I dare risk planting mine out here till next spring, I'll see how big they get by autumn.
Lol, hubby would be pleased with that Wylie, he's always encouraging me to dig up more, it takes him 45mins to cut the grass so the less the better for him :-)))

I would try planting a couple, now. In every group there are a few crosses that aren't very exciting, and they should grow big & strong enough to get through the winter. I was suprised to see how big some of them got. I have some seedlings started this year that are bigger than the 2 in pots from last year (but I did start in January and they started going into the ground in March), and those 2 show no signs of wanting to bloom. But they need several months in the ground, growing.

I do have 9 or 10 plants of some crosses so probably is worth giving some of them a go in the ground Wylie, do have lots of room on the allotment, lots of time for them to get established before winter, started most of mine mid March but even the ones I potted on a week or so ago seem to have grown already, I'll post you a list of all the crosses I've got when I get a minute, see what you think :-))
