first successful produce from my poly tunnel

Thank you for the welcome
most of what I have done so far has gone in the garden -
I just get such a thrill growing from seed - Lavender is my favourite - probably because I am relatively successful with it - but hey I have a lot to learn yet, I am finding the poly tunnel whilst having the space is not so easy as the green house but its fun learning.
I have got my giant tomato plants in situ now hoping that they will be successful in poly tunnel this year - there's just not enough hours in a day!!

It must be wonderful to have such alot of new growing space though Frananne. Let us know what you grow next. Do you grow vegetables apart from tomatoes? I would imagine chilli peppers and sweet peppers would really like it in your tunnel

I am so looking forward to seeing the plants fill my tunnel. So far I have 3 different varieties of tomatoes the spring onions are doing well, lettuce are growing like weeds, chillis and sweet peppers, aubergines and cucumbers - the cucumbers have been planted in a straw bale - a tip from a local farmer - herbs oregano and coriander and pak choi. I will post pictures when it starts to fill out. What is really nice about the tunnel is the room and the warmth, consequently I am rarely on my own having the support and companionship of my three lovely cats. I'll let you know the progress of the chillis and sweet peppers, poppylover good or bad!!

Hi Frananne, welcome to Goy. Looks like youve been doing some serious growing there. Is it for your garden or are you hoping to sell them?
