The flowers on this have peaked just in time, I am digging it up and moving it within a couple of weeks. It has a huge root system on it, bigger than some of the 6' shrubs I have moved.

The only reason I know how big it is is because I planted it last summer. I got it as a potted plant and didn't want to put it in the back of my truck for a 3 hour drive so I had to jam it in the cab. I have a regular cab 1/2 ton truck and it literally filled the entire passenger side of my truck it was so large! I counted the plants I have potted to move yesterday and the total *just in pots, not counting the ones still in the ground or already moved* is 172!

I can only plant so many at a time so every time I go over there I take some with me. I am putting up a fence around the entire yard because the deer destroy EVERYTHING where I am moving. I'm trying not to move too many plants until I can get the fence done. The plants I have been moving are either close enough to the house or plants the deer don't generally go for, especially during the summer when they have other things to eat.

It's a major strategic operation! Almost like one of those problems - how many trips to take the fox chicken and corn across the river when only One item can go in the boat at once?
