Yes, the Thai Dwarf papaya plant has really large fruit. It's funny before this tree died it produced a huge crop.

It was 20 feet tall and then it produced a lot of large fruit in summer...then the leaves started to die and then it just died. It could have been an effect of the horrible drought. For some reason this one always produced its fruit in winter. It flowered best in fall and the fruit ripened in February through April.

Wow hardly a dwarf lol. I would of thought it was the drought Andy that killed it . Strange how it produced fruit in winter perhaps it prefered winter because of the hot weather.

Yes, it was hardly a dwarf. I kept saying that every time I posted a photo of it. It grew really tall.
It really could have been the extreme, historic drought that killed it. I couldn't give it enough water.
