Nice one,Karen...is it a hardy one?

I thought it looked very Mediterranean... :)

It's only frost hardy, but in a pot and moved to shelter in the winter, it should be okay...I hope... :/

It grows on dry, rocky or sandy ground around the Mediterranean, as pretty as it looks I did not get on with the smell Karen.

No, I don't care for it either Denise, you are quite right. Curry plant is another one I can't stand. I do however adore the smell of Lemon Verbena...another mediterranean plant!

Hi Karen, D and Lil!

I was really looking for Santolina...but they didn't have any and I thought this would fill a space until they come onto the market. Actually, I was after anything I could get which is vaguely Mediterranean...
There's not a lot of choice at the moment - too early, yet.

I must admit that I didn't notice the smell when I planted it yesterday...but, I've just been out for a sniff and it does have a bit of a curry odour to it! It's now up at the back of the garden!

I think the greenhouse is going to have to have an extension already, Lil... ;)

ps...Karen, Katherine, Katarina, etc...all Greek...therefor bound to be at home in the Mediterranean!!! ;)
