I don't think it grows wild here, although, it's pretty widely grown here in California. In some places it may possibly naturalize.

I googled it...lots of photos of whole hillsides of it in Crete...
I think I'll be needing a bigger pot, right enough...and then a bigger garden! lol! :)

I just found out P. fruiticosa is on the "don't plant list" in California. It's very invasive in some areas of the state
