I have two that have come up this year...so far very healthy and no rust.

Ah, so rust is a common problem for them?

Yes Pimpernel.....I was wondering what it was. The bottom leaves fall off but that's about it. 2nd year from seed.....at least they don't die.
What do you do for the rust?

I think with the hollyhock it is a case of living with it Alex and keeping the plant well fed and watered. They all seem to get it these days though..

Yup! Except the ones growing up through the road outside, that is...
