I never noticed the fragrance on this shrub. It's very widely grown here in San Diego, also. I like flowers on buddleja madagascariensis, too....it's also very widely grown here.

Here in San Diego it was very cool today, for this time of year, only a high temp of 70ºF/21ºC., this is our average January high temp.

Someone told me it hit 30C yesterday (felt like more really).....tempt moving UP steadily.....hurrrrrray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's perfect! We've had some pretty warm weather up to 92ºF/33ºC...however, no temps to 100ºF/38ºC., yet. Last year we had our first 100ºF/38ºC temp on May 3rd (I looked my old photo from last year. lol!).

I'm going to hit the beach on my next morning off ;o)))))))
