Lavender starts to bloom.

We have lavender fields near the coast at Heacham where they extract the oil for scents /soaps etc. the smell is wonderful it fills the area ...

I once got real English lavender from my teacher of English. Many years ago. She died already, but I had her lavender in my garden for two decades. It was huge, almost like a medium sized shrub. I have never seen that sort here since that time.

Lovely Old English Shrub, ours hasn't bloomed yet but is it's way....We had to get rid of two of ours Kat, they got so very huge....

Kat . click onto my profile when it comes up click on my photos on the menu bar , you will see the words ..Popular Tags .. click on ' show more ' which is beside those words .. it will bring a list up of my 'tags' on the 3rd row from the bottom you will see the words summer click on that and you will see the Lavender 3rd row from the bottom ...

it's a way of keeping your photos in some kind of order , for instance if you put a lot of photos of roses on you will put roses where it says 'add tag' all your roses will then all be on one page where it says popular tags ,look at my roses tag to see what I mean , hope this helps x
