Daylily - "Eye of Horus"

Wilieintheazores, may I ask you a question. Last October I bought bulbs of lily called Sheherezade. I planted them in a shady, yet sheltered place, which has lot of sun in the morning. Unfortunately I did not mark exact place, what is pity, because nothing has grown until now. What could be the problem? I planted it in the 6-7 cm depth.

That is a lily, while I specialize in Daylilies (Hemerocallis). Not all of my lilies have come up yet, those that bloom in the fall come up later. But you may want to ask it as a general question.
