I would be showing off if my African Tulip tree was already 30ft/10m tall, then my 50ft/16m tall Jacaranda tree would look stupendous together!

Yes, it would! However, I won't let my African Tulip tree grow to 10m/30ft because it's in too confined a spot. Most likely I will only let it grow to 20ft/7m tall (it's only about 8ft/2.5m tall now).

Yes, it's great...this is why were having "June Gloom" today. lol! :>) It's suppose to clear out later today, though. The June Gloom affects the coast more than us inlander San Diegans.

Thanks! Yes, African Tulip trees are native to the Congo region of Africa. They're not tolerant of frost; however, they do tolerate cool temps for a short period of time. They grow well in most tropical/subtropical climates.
