these poor little lizards always seem to find their way into the turtle tanks & I'm constantly fishing them out!

Are they in any danger from the turtles ?

that's what I worry about....they are aquatic turtles, mostly north and south American mud turtle species, and they have a strong bite and will try to eat anything.
At a place I worked years ago, we had a big rat problem. The building had opened up a shaft and the rats started coming in. Anyway, some of these large rats were falling into the turtle tanks and the turtles were killing them - we kept finding chewed up rats. yuck.

chewed rats!? Yuck is right! Like the look of this little fellow though...his tail looks to be bright blue...is that the lighting or is it real?

it's bright blazing blue, Lori, almost iridescent.

Is this a bluetailed skink? I've heard of them before.

it's a 5-lined skink.
And I keep pulling them out of the same tank!

What could be luring them to the same tank??? turtle food?
