always have taken these for granted but looking a little closer they have a lovely spotted throat that is quite delicate...

I like them too but i always took them for granted, but as you say when the bees finished i took a pic of it and realised how nice they really are :-)

Great shot and colours, SL. Wonderful detailed picture of a monster throat :)) But watch out if you have kids. The whole plant is toxic. It is also called Dead ManĀ“s Bells in English...

Yes, Homebird, you are right. But its therapeutic window is so narrow (amount of difference between toxic and therapeutic dose) that majoriry of herbalists do not use it in this indication, Just pharmaceutical industry.
