Wonderful view. Tell me, how do you call Delphinium in English? I wish to buy them for my garden. Is it true they bloom twice in a year?

So glad you like it Booboosmum x

Thank you Motinot yes I think that is what it was called will have to try and remember now and thanks for your comment.

Thank you Katarina, Delphinium in English just the same, but think you might not have meant that, the spires are Lupins. But if you did mean Delphiniums yes they do if you cut them back after flowering you sometimes get a second flowering. Lupins are the same also but neither are as good the second time of flowering I have found. Lupins you can get in a mixture of colours, the range of colours is amazing. Delphiniums - not as many choices of colour, Blues (various shades), Whites and pale Pinks usually.

Hi Oliveoil, of course I recognized lupins, I bought recently pink ones. I was thinking about those blue flowers in the distance, but now I see those are not Delphiniums.

they are also lupins Katarina, dark purple ones. The bronze is Lysimachia Firecracker - I do have delphiniums in this border but not actually on this photograph - I love lupins and delphiniums and foxgloves but as you can see I love lots of other flowers too. lol How is the weather with you hope you are getting better than we are it is rain rain and more rain at the moment. We did get a little sunshine in between the raindrops today though, so not too bad a day. Although we are forecast heavy wind and rain overnight.
