Lavender garden

When we moved here this was a piece of the garden that was in a previous life a maneage. It was solid we tried to put a rotovator over it with no joy. I decided that i would make it into a raised garden so we got a load of breeze blocks and then filled the inside with horse manure and compost and any other garden waste. In the mean time I decided to grow lavender from seed and having a fair bit of success with them started planting in my new garden and to my amazement it is thriving. This is its second year now, the plum tree I put in the centre is doing fine

Thanks Michaella...
Great to be a member of GOY, I have spent most of this windy afternoon reading blogs, looking at lovely photos and generally getting inspired - thank you all for making my afternoon a bit brighter
