This is my favorite Juniper and a damn hard one to find. They are beautiful when they reach mature height. Supposedly a fast-grower but mine is still a foot tall.

It was really small when I got it but it was the only size I could find for sale. I think it will probably grow faster once it gets a little bigger, sometimes they take a while to get going. I just moved last summer and my new house has terrible soil. It's heavy and doesn't drain well, the last house I lived in had perfect soil so I'm sure that won't help much. At least junipers are pretty adaptable. I have it in a drier spot in the yard where it gets sun all day, hopefully it will be happy there.

1 ft. tall is good start. Wait until its 10 ft. Mine is that size and she is absolutely stunning. Just a note, she's what I would call a moderate to fast grower. Plenty of sun with good deep soil and fairly consistent moisture helps. She will hold up in drier conditions pretty well with just some interior browning. After all, she is a Juniper!
