Horrible bindweed

It's Convolvulus. Try and get rid of it before it takes over. It grows from long rhizomes under the ground. Try and get it all out because it will grow back from a very small piece.

Thanks, but I think it will be hard because I think it's in all the gardens, so all I can think of is to take care of mine and lay down that ground sheet to stop weeds and then shingles

Lillyb the gardens around me all have bindweed as well It is a never ending task to try and keep on top of this weed

Do you think a ground sheet would be a good idea ?

O i hate BINDWEED iv got it in my garden2& im always Pulling/Forking/Digging it out&yet dame stuff STILL RETURNS AAAAAAAAAAAAAARrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrhhhh : /
