View from the patio

This is our view to the north-west from the patio, which is at the back of our garden. The hill is North Hill, the most northerly of The Malverns (I'm always up there - quite a climb from our house, but I'm hooked on walking and its an easy reach from our place). The garden on this south side of our house slopes down to the conservatory, so the horseshoe of bank planting below gives us something to look at all winter.

Thanks Sticki. I'm assuming you will know roughly where we live and its nice o be able to see the hills. When we bought this house we had a good look around Malvern. We are far enough away from the hills so that we don't suffer from what I call winter gloom. Too close and the sun sets at 2pm!
