Daphne cuttings

These are all cuttings I took in mid May. Some of them are well rooted and some are just forming roots. I try to keep them humid and shaded until the roots have developed enough to pot up. Usually they begin forming roots within 4-6 weeks but don't get potted up until at least 8 weeks.
Top row: 8 Daphne x napolitana 'Meon' and 2 Daphne x susannae 'Lawrence Crocker'. Middle row: 4 Daphne x napolitana 'Stasek', 1 Daphne 'Lawrence Crocker' and 1 Stasek. Bottom row: 4 Stasek; 4 pk with 1) Rosy wave daphne, 1) Wilhelm Schacht Daphne, 2) Stasek daphne. The last one is 'Meon'.

They should root fine, that's pretty close to what temperatures were here in May. I had to look up conversions from Celsius to Fahrenheit haha. Ideal range is 21-24c but they can take it down to 7c and up to 29c.
This week, temps have been as high as 35c during the day and about 21c at night. Temperatures fluctuate pretty quickly here, average day time is 26-32 during summer and night time is 21-26. Looking forward to seeing how your daphnes come out, good luck with them. Did you use a rooting hormone?

I've got two lovely Daphne's - I might have a go at taking cuttings, this weekend. Do you get better results when using a rooting hormone?

Yes, you could probably root daphnes without it but it will take longer. Daphne odora I might not use rooting hormone and if I did it would be a weak hormone.

That's pretty impressive,Assuming Mine root i think it may well take longer as our tempetures here are abysmal they are averaging 16/20c by day down to about 10c overnight,what sort of temperature were yours rooted at.
When the weather does change here it will probably rise by 10c to the upper twenty's
