sure looks a lot like a geranium... even the buds. Very pretty little flowers.

Along with the other photos of Erodium chrysanthum here, it depicts a hybrid Erodium and not Erodium chrysanthum. Anyone interested in further information, please go to the Geraniaceae Group website and look for "In search of the Golden Fleece".
