Despite the attentions of lily beetles, I've got it to grow and flower. This has a reputation for being difficult but it is probably because people fuss over it. Plant it in sun with the roots shaded, then leave it alone

beautiful.. I found the lily beetles at work early and think I managed to remove them all...so far so good...have a lilium Vermeer...that I'm anticipating at the moment lots of lovely buds. Beautiful pure white lily..does it have scent that's heavy or light?

You're asking someone who doesn't have much sense of smell. My bible calls it "sweetly fragrant" so I guess that means it's not too heavy
