Thanks all, I've been out today and bought 2 R. Lady Emma Hamiltons ( Austins)for front. Fantastic fragrance very pretty too. I went for pink ones and came back with these 8~/

BA how are you doing with your Lagerstroemia indica? do you still have it? lovely rose by the way....

Deceased...shouldn't try really, must remember where I live lol. I have a Cercis Lavender Twist which looks fantastic in pics, but hasn't really done anything here, just one or two tiny flowers on the bark....hardly a show stopper lol. It is a nice graceful shape and the leaves are attractive so maybe it will stay, but it had better pull its socks up or it'll get its marching orders :-)

We bought a Lager whatsit in France, it got left in the car on one of the hottest days of the year, came back to England, kept it inside all winter grew some beautiful leaves, put it outside too soon so it lost all its new leaves, OH cut it right back (at the wrong time) growing again but very slow, and just waiting for the mildew now!! Your Cercis sounds very interesting...

It's interesting, but it was a show stopping beauty I was after Dotty...the pics of it in flower are stunning, probably all taken in America lol:-)
