This is the leafs of my Lillie plant, what is wrong with it has anyone any idea, my husband has sprayed it but it keeps getting covered in eggs, I have put another photo on for you to see,

kill the beetle not just the eggs yorshire or they will just keep laying them and eating your plants.

There i go again Yorkshire hitting the like button...sorry....I dont know what lily beetle damage looks like...It is strange looking isn't it?..

Scarlet Lily Beetle Val .. those black blobs that look like droppings give it away ,I believe the eggs are in those black blobs , in which case you need to remove the leaf ! if the beetles drop off into the soil they will survive for the next year ,try to pick them all off ,you must look everyday because more will come .. nasty things :o(

Hi yep i can answer this correctly for a change it is for certain the red lilly beetle.It will destroy all the plant including roots from what i have found out.We have got it at the moment and you have to keep killing all the eggs and beetles if you find them.They do bury in the soil around the lillies.Hope this helps:)))))

Maybe this is damage caused by the lily beetle, ghastly creatures!
