Valerian

We have a patch of red and pink valerian in what we call our red border (dicentra earlier and blousy poppies, penstemon and geum at their best later). Don't remember buying it, but this plant is expert at spreading so probably just arrived on its own. Yes, its a bit of a weed, but it has a profusion of flowers, is good ground cover and fits our country garden style.
