A member of Goy mentioned that they do flower but I was really surprised to see how many flowers were on the shrub which has been kept to a mound about 2' high by 3' in diameter. Considering it has never flowered in the past and I would have noticed because I have to get right in to it to get at the brambles which abound, it seems amazing that it is doing so well. Its often said that plants flower if they are under stress so I hope that is not true for this one. I had a look to see other photos of eonymous and only found one goyer growing it and getting flowers. His pics are clearer than mine, its Andrewr.

That's special - I have never seen one in flower, ever.
