It looks lovely Tet. Is that a Hydrangea by the door?

Yes it is Annella, it was supposed to be white! It was where the tree is now for about 5 years, did sweet all in that time.Put it in the pot last year and its gone nuts!!!

I find all mine do better in pots Tet. I dug a white one up that was failing last year and it looks fab again now in it's pot. Yours is very pretty, I like the pink centre.

Im not so keen on the mop heads (they sound a bit like char ladies lol!) prefer lace caps.

I have a mix of both and different colours :o))

while your running down Annella, you could bring me a cutting of a blue lacecap, and I will swap you with a lovely pale/mid blue geranium called Blue Cloud..it has woven itself thru the plants and looks fantastic! Its doing so well it might reach to your house before you get home lol!

I was really thrilled with the pink Linaria "Canon Went" DD, very strongly upright and the bees LOVE it!! Mind you I didnt expect the tiny plant to erupt quite as much as it did (its the one under the tree) but a wonderful border plant at about 1 metre tall and needs about 30" width (75cm)

The other plant that has thrilled me this year is the geranium Ann Thomson. Its beautiful warm purple flowers has woven in and out of the greenery of the plants that have long finished flowering and looks utterly charming.

Yes must agree Ann Thomson is a good doer.....

See, I'm catching up gradually. Your garden looks fantastic Tet, hasn't it come on. I love L Canon Went, I had it a few years ago, but it di what it said on the tin ...went. I put in a lovely white one this year, all local gardens sport the purple, seeds everywhere, but the white is sterile and flowers for months. I'm going to have another go at the Canon to0, it looks amazing in your garden, off to google G.Ann Thomson and Blue Cloud:-)
