This was all the daphnes I wanted to fit into one area, I am going to be making a much larger area for the rest but that will take at least 3-4 weeks. All I used for the mix I planted them in was River rock on bottom followed by a mix of pea gravel and top soil.

The only one that I started from a cutting here is Daphne x burkwoodii 'Silveredge'. Most of them I've had for 2-3 years now. I counted yesterday and have 21 rooted daphne cuttings this season. Most of them are 'Stasek' but I have a few Meon, Lawrence Crocker, Somerset, Wilhelm Schacht and one Rosy Wave rooted. I lost a few that were just beginning to root because of the heat. It got to 100F (37.7C) today and is going to be as hot the next 2 days. It's a nightmare, especially for the cuttings.
I used to have trouble rooting Lawrence Crocker but only lost one out of six so far and rooted in 4-5 weeks. Wilhelm Schacht, Stasek and Meon all are rooting very fast for me too.
