Box balls

The box balls in this photo are for the containers which stand at the front of the house. I usually plant them up with summer bedding and stand them on the small raised blocks at the bottom of the steps. (I treated myself to the box balls earlier this year when I found garden vouchers in a drawer, which I had forgotten about). Have been too busy to plant them up so far, but if it keeps raining, they will be planted up soon!

I'll have to ask my husband when Derby day is! I'm also a follower of Monty, read an article in GW (July) edition which explained to me why my Holly bush had tripled in size (width) since this time last year - wish it had been published then, lol!
