Yes Karen and my Tree Peony 6 buds never got a chance to open due to the heavy rains.

So many buds still to open but not getting a chance Karen.

It is so disappointing to lose things in bud. It's my clematis buds that are most affected by the rain, swelling up then rotting.

I really sympathise, Kath. My peony was ok for about 2 days - just long enough to photograph, but many buds did not open and those that did were gone in a trice. But there she is, anyway, doing her best!

Yes so sad when this happens with the weather Suzanne need now to wait again till next year.
