Venus FlyTrap in Flower

My Daughters plant, - I had no idea that they flowered - the stem is very long & has grown at amazing rate, up to 2-3 inches in a day, its 2 inches longer still than this picture since yesterday - even though its so long, its surprisingly sturdy

It is quite special isn't it, very weird though - I thought she was drowning the poor thing, but seems so long at its the right sort of water, it likes to be drowned - lol

Just to update - I "THINK" its finally stopped growing & more buds are opening but it seems to be putting its energy into growing more shoots - looks like 3 more "fly traps" popping up :)
Thought the smell might interest you though - its quite faint near to the flowers, can't quite work out if its a pleasant perfume or not, sort of sickly sweet :-? - but from her windowsill it does scent the whole of my Daughters room though - she loves the smell
