My buddy, follows me where ever I go. Protects me from the snakes!

What a doll-baby. How are these dogs as pets (Corgi, right?) You don't see them often, at least here in the states, but I've always been drawn to them.

He is the greatest but he is very protective of his human. He still grumbles when my husband gets near. They are kind of one owner
buddys. He kinda likes to herd my husband away from me. We just
ignore him, I wouldn't trade him for anything. He is very smart. When we say squirrel he goes to check the bird feeder. So now we spell until he
catches on. Same with the ground hog and rabbits. They do have their problems such as their backs because they are so long. He is only 3
but sometimes you would think he was very old. My Shorty seems to have a very sensitive stomach so I have to buy him natural food without the corn and preservatives. He's always on guard. He is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Sorry I'm rambling on, just love him so. Just wish he
and my Sassy cat would get along. He chases most things that runs.

Shorty is adorable.
In Britain Pembrokeshire Welsh Corgis are classified in the Pastoral Group. (In the USA in the Herding Group).
My Shetland Sheepdog, Conker, is on my photos. This breed has many similar traits to a Corgi, such as being very intelligent, often being a one-person dog, and a strong instinct to herd. And sometimes with sensitive stomachs!
Shorty has attractive coat colouring. :o)
