Second season in the new garden... it should be in top form next season. What attracted me most about it was it's leaves...

It's a cracking plant! I love the dark stems too. I've noticed how sensitive mine is to dry conditions though.

like the other ligs I have, Gt, it likes moisture. I have L. dentata "Desdemona" and "Othello"...the flowers are more daisy like, and the leaves oval with toothy edges and dark purplish red stems and undersides. The nicest feature is the seedhead...looks like a dandelion on steroids! The przewalskii will grow quite tall... in my other garden it was 4 ft. tall. but it's just getting settled here and it's only about 3 ft. at present.
I rather like ligs too, Meanie. They will take all the water you can give them, I have found. I'm trying not to spoil them too much to see if they'll adjust to the new environs and be healthy and strong without my fussing over them. Tough love! lol...

Wonderfully tall! I added one into my garden last year, blooming in its pot only a few feet tall with tightly clustered flowers. I hope it turns out like this getting to spread its roots. This looks taller than my L. stellata!
