Bugleweed under the Plum tree.

I put in this dark variety of ajuga beneath the double flowering plum, and soon after this delightful cascade of petals from the spring show showered down enhancing that purple with pink. :-)

Thank you. It seems to be spreading well. This hasn't been winter tested yet. But my other ajuga came through very well.
