My Hilo Beauty Plumeria is finally flowering. It needs extremely high temps to bloom. We've been getting those very hot and humid temps. Photo taken July 13, 2012.

It's been in the 90's and very humid. Yes, I live in inland San Diego. Downtown San Diego is always 10 - 15 degrees cooler. It's like the difference between San Francisco and San Jose...of course, San Jose is much hotter, I used to live there.

I've had this plant for 8 or 9 years. It blooms well every year...it does need extremely hot temps to bloom.

San Jose is still hot in the morning, but some times a little cold at night though. Too hot for us but that's what Plumerias love so enjoy the rewarding of it beauty flowers while we can lol.
