A hybrid between Mahonia and Berberis Sheila....just as jaggy too!
It does look nice and healthy doesn't it! Was looking for a low growing evergreen shrub, Billy @ Binny's recommended this as something a bit different :)

I've put it in my favourites because it could solve a problem for me. I won't know until I finish clearing out the overgrowth in the north west corner of the garden.

You struck lucky there Scottish Binny's site says - Seldom offered evergreen with tough leathery leaves and bright mahonia like flowers in Spring. Will suit most soils and situations.

How interesting....on to my faves for future reference. Evergreen shrubs that flower are so useful here in the north!

Thanks for your comments Drc and Karen....it was highly recommended!
Most soils and situations - just about covers everything so I'm hoping it will do well. He says the leaves take on a bronzy colour but I can't remember when he said it does this....doh!!
