This is always the first helenium to flower in my garden

Scottish - it is a short variety, only reaching three feet. Like many things this year, it has been a bit battered down by the rain

Thanks Andrew - a shorter one sounds nice.
What isn't battered down with the rain has been munched to within an inch of their lives by slugs and snails..lol!
