Daylily ??

Oh dear you're not having much luck Gg, I've had 2 open now from the same supplier and so far they're both right, but know what you mean I've had a few over the years :-(
I've seen one very like this, mmm, I have lots of old catalogues from this supplier and if I get a wrong one I can sometimes find which one it is from them, I'll have a look through them later :-)

I will have a load that wont flower this year so lots more suprises next year I hope well named varieties hopfully

Nice flower. I have had a similar problem with one seed seller, and I won't go back to him - too many reliable ones out there.

Well I looked through the catalogues Gg :-) but so many that look like this couldn't be sure.
I had my first wrong one open today :-( should be Russian Ragtime but its a orangey yellow colour didn't open fully so have to wait for another bud to open to get a better look, but its definitely not the right plant, still I only paid £1 each for 7 plants so even if I only get the 2 right ones that have opened I still got them cheaply :-)
