I'm the gardener but he decides we should grow more tomatoes this year. They have been in the porch which normally is sunny and warm - but not this year.

Hi Meadowland, your OH sounds just like mine!
That's not a standard rose in tubs, I have two hanging baskets there and the tubs are still empty - awaiting me transferring two box balls which I bought 2 months ago but can never find the time to move them (they also need trimmed now). So much to do and so little time between rain showers to get anything done!
