Saw this on sale at an NGS Open garden, had to buy it.

Not grown this one before, hope it flowers for us this year....

The variegated one grows a little slower. It does flower very freely all year, though.

Good to hear, it has been re-potted and given plenty of tlc, so just watching and waiting....

I've seen some large shrubs around San Diego; it's definitely not as common as the green-leaf varieties, though.
